Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda said that the construction of a satellite campus of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) in Barangay Sta. Monica, Floridablanca town may start in June.
He shared this with his constituents in the said municipality when he led the “Kapitoloyo sa Barangay” program in Barangay Pabanlag.
“Baka next month, mag-groundbreaking na tayo,” he said in his message.
Pineda thanked Floridablanca Mayor Darwin Manalansan and the Sangguniang Bayan for providing the land for the satellite campus.
He also underscored the importance of education and health, which were among the priority programs of his administration.
Joining the governor at the event were Board Members Sajid Khan Eusoof and Claire Lim, Lubao Mayor Esmie Pineda, and other local government officials.
Some 500 residents also received cash and rice assistance.
