Mayor Caluag gets outstanding public servant award from RPMD

Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag of San Fernando City, Pampanga has received an award for her public service.

The City Information Office (CIO) said the RP-Mission and Development (RPMD) Foundation, Inc. conferred the plaque to the mayor for being an “Outstanding Public Servant for the Year 2023.”

Quoting PRMD executive director Dr. Paul Martinez, it said this was a recognition of the mayor’s commitment to excellence in governance and an acknowledgment of her role in promoting sustainable development.

Caluag has consistently been named by the RPMD as one of the best mayors in the country, ranking high among the top-performing local chief executives in the country, the CIO said.

PRMD evaluated the contributions of the mayor based on public service quality, community responsiveness, effective policy implementation, and fostering transparency and accountability.
