The Angeles City government led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has started the distribution of free shoes, socks, tshirts, and bags with school supplies to public school students.
First to receive the items were students from Sitio Target Integrated School on Monday, October 7.
The distribution of items to the other public schools will follow suit, the City Information Office (CIO) said.
Lazatin will personally deliver around 93,000 pairs of free shoes, t-shirts, bags, and school supplies to the 56 public schools via schedule.
Joining Lazatin during the distribution were First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, and other local government officials.
