Police arrests 7 suspects in online seller couple murder

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Police have arrested seven suspects in the killing of online seller spouses Arvin and Lerma Lulu in Sto. Rosario, Mexico, Pampanga, last Oct. 4.

Tracker teams from the Mexico Municipal Police Station, Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Mobile Force Battalion, and 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies in joint operation from Oct. 13-14 managed to arrest in Nueva Ecija key suspects Arnold Taylan, the alleged gunman, and Arnel Buan, his back rider.

Police said statements from Taylan and Buan enabled authorities to track down and arrest five more suspects, identified as Robert Dimaliwat, Rolando Cruz, Jomie Rabandaban, Sancho Nieto, and the alleged mastermind, Anthony Limon. Investigations revealed that Limon, also an online seller, owed the couple P13 million in debt which, police said, provided the potential motive for the murder.

Authorities seized three 9mm pistols, five .45 pistols, one .22 rifle, and an air gun during the operations against the suspects.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Redrico A. Maranan hailed the police operatives for their dedication in reaffirming the PNP’s commitment to ensuring justice for the victims.

“We are committed to leaving no stone unturned in this pursuit of justice for this heinous crime,” Maranan said. PRO-3
