Mayor Lazatin, DHSUD hand over financial aid to typhoon-affected families in Angeles City

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., together with the officials of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), has handed over financial assistance to 24 families from barangay Pampang affected by Typhoon Carina.

The City Information Office (CIO) said that one family received P30,000 while the 23 others got P10,000 each from the DHSUD.

DHSUD Region 3 Public Housing and Settlements Division Officer-in-charge Laila Castillo, Administration and Finance Division OIC Pietro Angelo Santiago, and Home Owners Association and Community Development Division OIC Dennis Puzon represented Regional Director Julius Ervin Enciso during the distribution of aid.

Also present during the turnover of assistance were City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso, City Nutrition Officer Francis De Guzman, and Angeles City Human Settlements and Urban Development Office Deputy Rowel Nava.

Carina, with the combination of southwest monsoon, affected over six million people when it hit most parts of the Philippines in July.
