It’s Christmas in San Fernando City, Pampanga!
San Fernando City Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag is inviting everyone to catch the lights and lanterns in 14 sites in the city.
This was after Kapampangan lantern makers Arvin Quiwa, Mark Flores, Marlos Tayag, and Roland Quiambao collaborated again for the city government’s lights and lantern project.
“Let us once again celebrate the extraordinary talents of our homegrown lantern makers, who have transformed the City of San Fernando into the brightest and most colorful site to visit this holiday season!” the City Information Office (CIO) said.
Among the places where the people could feel the spirit of Paskung Fernandino are the City Hall, Barangay Sto. Rosario; Heroes Hall, Barangay San Juan; Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA); Giant Lantern and Tourist Information Center (former Paskuhan Village); San Fernando Rotonda (Poblacion Clock Tower, Tagulud, Monumento Fernandino); Flyovers (JASA and Lazatin Boulevard); Welcome Arches (Angeles, Bacolor, Sto. Tomas); Baliti Portion of the McArthur Highway; and City Town Center, Barangay Calulut.
