ANGELES CITY – Senator Imee Marcos’ Zumbarangay program is set to energize Barangay Cutud in Angeles City on November 29, 2024, with over 500 participants from 33 barangays expected to join.
Hosted by the Office of Sen. Marcos, the event will feature vibrant zumba sessions starting at 8AM, aimed at promoting wellness and camaraderie among residents in line with her nationwide initiative for health, fitness, and community engagement.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. expressed his gratitude to Sen. Marcos for bringing Zumbarangay to Angeles City.
“We thank Senator Imee Marcos for choosing Angeles City as a host for Zumbarangay 2024. Her unwavering support for wellness programs and vital infrastructure projects, like the Pampang Public Market, strengthens our communities and improves the lives of Angeleños,” Mayor Lazatin said.
In addition, Sen. Marcos is scheduled to lead the inauguration of the newly rebuilt Pampang Public Market serving as the guest of honor on the same day.
Sen. Marcos also facilitated the release of ₱20.5 million for the repair of the old Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) building, helping Angeles City’s public health and infrastructure programs.
