Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag of San Fernando City, Pampanga has expressed gratitude to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for recognizing the city’s efforts in providing impactful and worthwhile social welfare programs for the Fernandinos.
The mayor made the statement as the DSWD Central Luzon awarded the Listahanan 3 Building Marker to the city government, recognizing its push and compliance with data-driven social programs for the residents.
The Listahanan 3 Building Marker is being awarded to the stakeholders in Central Luzon who were able to use the Listahanan data and complete all the required documents regarding it based on the DSWD Memorandum Circular No. 15, s. 2021, or “Guidelines on the Sharing of Data Generated from the Listahanan Database to External Stakeholders,” and Republic Act 10173, or the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
“The said marker symbolizes the LGU’s dedication and commitment to improving the welfare of its constituents through effective data utilization and social protection programs, providing a significant contribution to the national goal of poverty reduction and social equity,” the City Information Office said.
