The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., has rescued members of the Aeta community in Porac during the city’s reach out operation recently.
The Angeles City Tourist Auxiliary and Barangay Outreach headed by Michael Lising let the activity, the City Information Office (CIO) said.
It said the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) conducted the profiling of the members of the indigenous peoples.
The city government would also facilitate the return of the Aetas in their town in Porac, the CIO added.
