The local government of San Fernando City, Pampanga has reminded its constituents that the four-day compressed workweek is still in effect in the city.
Such policy has been effective since December 4, 2023.
“Please be advised that the implementation of the four-day compressed work week in the City Government of San Fernando departments/divisions offering office-based transactions and services is still in effect,” the City Information Office (CIO) said.
This means office hours are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Thursday.
However, the CIO noted the amendment made by the City Health Office (CHO) on September 2 last year, implementing a Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule for all Rural Health Units and Barangay Health Stations in the city.
“Further, offices whose functions involve the delivery of other health services, social welfare and development services, peace and order, and response to disasters/calamities, on the other hand, continuously observe regular operations (Monday to Sunday),” the CIO said.
