The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., has provided free anti-flu vaccines to the 4,744 city hall employees.
The Association of Government Employees for a New Dynamic Angeles City (AGENDA) led by President Flordeliza Santos thanked the city government for the health assistance.
Lazatin said he wants to protect the city hall employees from potential respiratory diseases.
“This is part of our promise that we will continue to put top priority on the health of our workers since they are vital in providing the services needed by our constituents,” he said.
“Sinusuklian lang natin ang dedikasyon at sipag ng ating mga kawani ng gobyerno kaya nararapat lamang na bigyang halaga ang kanilang kalusugan,” the mayor said.
Santos said Lazatin’s move showed his concern to the city hall staff.
Sa libring flu vaccine, we can be assured that our employees are protected and healthy,” Santos said.
Lazatin deployed the Ronda Bakuna Bus, manned by members of the Angeles City Health Office, to fast-track the inoculation.
