CLARK FREEPORT – Aptly named – the Arabic for welcome – world-class Marhaba Lounge officially opened at the Clark International Airport here on Feb. 21, taking to luxurious level the comfort and relaxation of air travelers.
A joint venture with Dnata, one of the world’s leading airport services providers, Marhaba Lounge offers a range of top-tier amenities blending comfort, privacy, and productivity in a luxurious setting.
The lounge features a 166-seater space with modern furnishings, gourmet dining offering a mix of Filipino and international dishes, a cocktail bar, private sleeping pods and premier shower rooms, high-speed WiFi, work stations and meeting room, a dedicated smoking area, and, naturally, flight information and TV screens, among other amenities.
“A one-of-a-kind, remarkable lounge that adds greater distinction to CRK as airport to the world,” enthused Clark Development Corp. chairman Atty. Edgardo Pamintuan during the opening ceremony.
“It highly fits the look of the CRK terminal,” noted president Noel Manankil of Luzon International Premier Airport Development, the operator of the CRK.
Pamintuan and Manankil were joined in the ribbon-cutting rites by Edward Silverio, chairman of Airline Operators Council-Clark; Margaret Yu, managing director of Marhaba Phils.; and Jefferson Cheng, chairman of AIMC Skyview. Punto Lifestyle Team/Photos: CLMA-Pampanga
