Ex-president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo proclaimed congresswoman-elect in Pampanga

Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has been officially proclaimed representative-elect of the 2nd District of Pampanga.

The incumbent congresswoman, garnering 227,254 votes in the May 12 elections, had no rival in the congressional district.

Meanwhile, incumbent Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. ran unopposed in the congressional post in the 1st District of Pampanga.

In the 3rd District, Mica Gonzales, with 213,914 votes, defeated her two rivals.

Pampanga 4th District Rep. Anna York P. Bondoc was reelected, beating her two other opponents.
