Gov Delta gives P10.2M cash aid to Sasmuaeños

Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda has distributed P10.2 million in assistance to almost 2,000 residents of Sasmuan who were seriously affected by a typhoon last year.

A total of 1,815 Sasmuaeños received financial aid at Sasmuan Covered Court and PAGCOR Building in Barangay Sta. Catalina, Lubao.

Each beneficiary got ₱5,625 under the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the Pampanga provincial government.

Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Sasmuan Mayor Catalina Cabrera, and other local officials attended the event.
