
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — At least 39 barangays in Pampanga remain submerged in floodwaters due to continuous monsoon rains and high tide.
According to the Pampanga Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO)’s Situational Report dated July 14, 2025, the towns of Masantol, Macabebe, and Minalin each have 13 flooded barangays.
In Masantol, the barangays of Alauli, Bagang, Balibago, Nigui, Sagrada, and Sapang Kawayan are under 1 to 2 feet of water. Portions of Sta. Lucia Anac, Sta. Lucia Paguiaba, San Isidro Anac, San Nicolas, Bebe Anac, Sta. Cruz, and Palimpe are also flooded. Elementary schools in Sapang Kawayan, Bagang, Palimpe, and San Isidro suspended face-to-face classes on Monday, July 14, 2025.
In Macabebe, the barangays of Caduang Tete, Candelaria, Mataguiti, San Jose, Saplad David, and Tacasan are submerged in 1 to 3 feet of floodwater. Portions of Batasan, San Gabriel, San Roque, San Vicente, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Lutgarda, and Sta. Rita are also affected by flooding.
Meanwhile, in Minalin, the barangays of Dawe, Maniago, and Saplad are flooded, along with portions of Sta. Catalina, San Francisco I, San Francisco II, San Nicolas, Sto. Rosario, Bulac, Sta. Rita, San Pedro, San Isidro, and Sta. Maria.
The PDRRMO also reported that Sta. Catalina Barangay Road in Minalin and the Sta. Lucia–San Nicolas Road in Masantol are not passable to light vehicles as of press time. #
