Relief operations in Northern Luzon ramped up over the weekend, with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) dispatching more than 4,600 family food packs to calamity-hit communities, with assistance from the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
On July 20, 2025, the DSWD mobilized supplies from its warehouse in Pampanga to an evacuation center in Tarlac, aiming to reach affected areas as quickly as possible. According to PAF, a total of 4,644 boxes of food packs were repacked, hauled, and loaded for distribution.

Supporting the operation were Disaster Response Teams (DRTs) from the PAF’s Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon, who provided critical manpower in logistics and coordination.
PAF added that the joint effort with DSWD highlights the importance of inter-agency collaboration in times of crisis, ensuring the timely delivery of aid to those in urgent need. #
