VG Pineda distributes cash aid to over 2K PWDs in Pampanga

Pampanga Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda has led the distribution of financial assistance to more than 2,000 persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the province.

Each of the 2,426 beneficiaries received P3,000 under the Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

The provincial government also gave food packs and maintenance medicines to the PWDs.

“Para sa mga PWD, malaking ginhawa ang tulong na ito upang matugunan ang ilang gastusin sa bahay at sa gamutan. Isa rin itong patunay na sa kabila ng kanilang mga hamon, may pamahalaang patuloy na nagmamalasakit at kumakalinga,” the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.

Board Members Fritzie David-Dizon, Sajid Khan Eusoof, Claire Lim, and other local officials were also present during the distribution of assistance.
