Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has received a plaque of appreciation from the Kiwanis International Philippine Luzon District for her unwavering service and concern for others.
The awarding ceremony was part of the celebration of the group’s 51st anniversary held at the Royce Hotel.
In her message, Pineda commended Kiwanis International for the lives it changed, especially for its continued help to the youth.
“Binigyang-diin niya (Pineda) na ang serbisyo ay nagiging pinakamakahulugan kapag ito ay nagmumula sa puso,” the Provincial Infromation Office said.
Accompanying the governor at the event were 2nd District Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon and 4th District Board Member Dr. Kaye Naguit.
