Angeles City Mayor Jon Lazatin has ordered disinfection activity at Pampang Elementary School following a report of a hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD) case.
The City Information Office (CIO) said the preventive measure aims to help contain the spread of infection and ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for students, teachers, and school personnel.
The local government is closely coordinating with school authorities and health offices to monitor the situation and implement necessary health protocols.
“Angeles City reminds the public to remain vigilant, practice proper hygiene, and promptly report health concerns to prevent the spread of communicable diseases,” the CIO said.
