SAGALA: A celebration of heritage through faith, unity, culture

CLARK FREEPORT – In a fitting culmination of National Heritage Month and Maytime traditions, Clark’s streets came alive as communities across Metro Clark gathered for SAGALA: From Stories to Celebration, showcasing tradition, artistry, and shared identity.

The procession featured sagala queens from different communities, marching bands, and ceremonial highlights that carried the spirit of unity and cultural pride. It was an afternoon where heritage was not just remembered but experienced together.

Serving as hermana mayor, Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera led the celebrations, affirming CDC’s commitment to placing arts, culture, and heritage at the heart of Clark’s growth story.

The event was organized by CDC and the Department of Tourism Region III led by director Dr. Richard Daenos. Support came from partners across Central Luzon — Angeles City, Mabalacat City, the Municipality of Porac, the Municipality of Capas, the Province of Pampanga, the Province of Tarlac, Hotel Stotsenberg, Royce Hotel and Casino, Swissôtel Clark, Widus Hotel, and the Central Luzon Association of Independent Tour Operators. Together, they affirmed Clark’s role as a hub where heritage thrives and communities move forward. CDC-PR
