Authorities recovered on Sunday afternoon, May 31, three more bodies from the collapsed building in Angeles City, bringing the confirmed deaths to 10.
Angeles City Information Office (CIO) said the Unified Command reported this to Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, who continuously monitors the situation.
Responders extricated the body of a female victim from the rubble at around 2:51 p.m. The second victim was recovered at around 3:43 p.m. After almost an hour late, another body was retrieved.
“With the recovery of the four victims since the morning of May 31, 2026, the confirmed death toll has risen to 10 as of 5:00 p.m.,” the CIO said.
Search, rescue, retrieval, and clearing operations continue.
The nine-story building under construction collapsed last week.
