Top executives of The Medical City Clark have undescored the importance of health, safety and well-being of the community of students and educators.
At the signing of MOA between TMC and the Division of Angeles City of the Department of Education, Dr. Alejandro L. Garcia, Jr., TMC Chief Medical Officer, doubled down on quality education and quality healthcare.
The MOA was signed by Dr. Alejandro L. Garcia, Jr., Interim Chief Medical Officer, TMC Clark; and Dr. Rosalin S. Muli, Ed.D., CESO VI, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, DepEd Angeles City.
“Today’s event represents a shared commitment to health, safety and well being of our students, teachers and the entire school community,” Dr. Garcia said.
Under the newly signed MOA, teachers from the DepEd Division of Angeles City will be getting 15 percent discount while their dependents will be accorded 10 percent at TMC, one of the finest hospitals in Central and Northern Luzon.
“We believe that caring for communities begins with meaningful partnerships. Education and health care go hand in hand. Healthy learners become better learners. Healthy educators help build stronger communities,” he added.
For her part, Dr. Rosalin S. Muli,
Assistant Schools Division Superintendent,
expressed gratitude to TMC, stating that the partnership is a “dream come true”.
“Not all of us in DepEd can afford to be here,” she said.
Aside from Garcia and Muli, those who signed the MOA include Jhonver G. Visaya, CPA, Senior Finance Manager, TMC Clark; Anna Marie Carmen M. Romero, Senior Education Program Specialist, DepEd Division Office of Angeles City; and Sherry Ann A. Zablan, MBA, Head, Strategic Accounts & Business Development, TMC Clark.
