BCDA donates P6-M ultrasound machine to Pampanga hospital

The Pampanga government, led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, has welcomed the P6-million ultrasound machine donated by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to the Pampanga Provincial Hospital-Clark.

The Provincial Information Office (PIO) said the machine is equipped with 2D echo.

“Game changer ang bagong equipment dahil bukod sa mas mabilis na ultrasound procedures, mas marami ring pasyente ang maaaring ma-accommodate,” it said.

The equipment could help in checking thyroid diseases and other conditions related to the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, kidneys, prostate, and pelvic organs, such as the uterus.

BCDA President and Chief Executive Officer Joshua Bingcang, Pineda, Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Clark Development Corporation Operations Administrator Ma. Zoraida Camello, and hospital doctors signed the deed of donation on August 5.

“Ang donasyon ay tugon sa kahilingan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Pampanga para sa karagdagang kagamitang medikal para sa Pampanga Provincial Hospital-Clark—isang hakbang para mas mapalawak at mapabilis ang serbisyong pangkalusugan para mas maraming Kapampangan ang magagamot at matutulungan,” the PIO said.
