Prime Infra Foundation, PWS Pampanga extend relief to Habagat-affected communities

Prime Infra Foundation, together with Prime Waste Solutions Pampanga, distributed rice packs to victims of habagat across host communities in Pampanga

Prime Infra Foundation, in coordination with Prime Waste Solutions (PWS) Pampanga, distributed relief assistance to families affected by the recent southwest monsoon or habagat across host communities in Pampanga.

To help address immediate food needs, rice packs were distributed to 3,540 beneficiaries in the municipalities of San Simon and Porac. Relief operations began on August 13 in San Simon,
reaching 2,840 beneficiaries, and continued on August 20 in Porac, where assistance was
provided to 600 beneficiaries in Barangay Planas and 100 in Barangay Calantas.

Volunteers from the local government units also supported the relief effort, helping facilitate the
distribution of rice packs to affected families in their respective communities. The initiative forms part of Prime Infra Foundation’s continuing support for host communities
during emergencies and other periods of disruption. By bringing essential food supplies directly to affected households, the relief effort complements local response and recovery initiatives.

A total of 3,540 beneficiaries across host communities in the municipality of San Simon and Porac received rice packs from Prime Infra Foundation and PWS Pampanga.

As a long-term member of the Porac community, PWS Pampanga continues to work with its host
communities beyond its day-to-day operations, supporting initiatives that contribute to community well-being and resilience.

PWS Pampanga operates a large-scale materials recovery facility designed to maximize resource
recovery through sorting, segregation, recycling, and the production of refuse-derived fuels.
