CLARK FREEPORT — Vietnamese airline Vietjet will launch its first service at Clark International Airport on November 10, 2026, with direct flights between Clark and Ho Chi Minh City.
The new route will operate three round-trip flights weekly every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, providing travelers from Central and Northern Luzon with a direct connection to Vietnam.
Vietjet flight VJ1871 will depart Clark at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 6:35 p.m. local time. The return flight, VJ1870, will leave Ho Chi Minh City at 12:30 p.m. and arrive at Clark at 4:05 p.m.
Clark International Airport operator Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp. said the new service is expected to strengthen the airport’s international connectivity and provide passengers with an alternative gateway to Vietnam.
“Vietjet’s decision to launch its first Clark service is a strong vote of confidence in the market we serve,” LIPAD President and CEO Noel Manankil said.
Manankil said the route could also support tourism and business links between Central and Northern Luzon and Vietnam.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest city, serves as a major gateway to other destinations in the country. Through Vietjet’s domestic network, passengers can connect to destinations including Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Hue.
To mark the launch, Vietjet said it will offer promotional Eco fares starting at US$75 one-way, inclusive of taxes and fees, every Friday. The promotion covers travel until March 31, 2027, subject to peak periods, holidays and blackout dates.
Bookings will be available through Vietjet’s website and mobile application.
