Tarlac 2nd District Rep. Cristy Angeles has personally coordinated with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the immediate rehabilitation of the collapsed Agana Bridge.
The congresswoman joined DPWH Regional Director Engr. Arnold Ocampo in inspecting the damaged structure.
After the assessment, she said Ocampo ordered the construction of the temporary Bailey Bridge at the said crossing.
She said the first batch of Bailey Bridge components from the DPWH Pampanga 3rd District Engineering Office, including a wheel-type backhoe, has already arrived.
The lawmaker vowed to continue coordinating with the DPWH for the immediate delivery of other materials and equipment for the construction of the temporary bridge.
