ANGELES CITY — In times of crisis, compassion often arrives in many forms. For Beautéderm president and CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan, it came through a community united by generosity.
Tan’s donation drive has raised P350,000 through the auction of her personal belongings and children’s items, with the proceeds earmarked for rice and grocery packs that will be distributed to families displaced and affected by widespread flooding across Pampanga.

The initiative is part of Tan’s “Yes to Love” campaign, an advocacy that encourages sustained acts of kindness and community support beyond moments of disaster. On Sept. 1, the Beautéderm headquarters here transformed into a bustling relief operations center as volunteers sorted, packed and repacked boxes of donated goods for distribution. The humanitarian effort drew support from Beautéderm ambassador Josh Ford, the Rotary Club of Balibago, Zonta Pampanga, and numerous private donors who contributed essential supplies.
For Tan, the relief mission is deeply personal. Although born and raised in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, she said Pampanga has been her home for the past 22 years—the province where she built both her family and the Beautéderm brand.

She recalled beginning her entrepreneurial journey while working as an employee and earning extra income by selling PX goods from Clark through eBay. Those humble beginnings, she said, shaped her appreciation for hard work and strengthened her commitment to help others whenever she has the opportunity. Tan expressed her gratitude to the donors, volunteers, auction bidders and partner organizations whose collective efforts made the relief campaign possible. “Even if we cannot change someone’s entire life, if we can make their day a little easier, even just for one day, that is already something beautiful,” Tan said.
