Gov Pineda holds assessment meeting with Pampanga medical, health workers

Pampanga Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has led an assessment meeting with medical and health workers to strengthen the implementation of the provincial government’s health programs.

The governor met Pampanga doctors, nurses, medical technologists, and other health workers from district hospitals on Friday, September 18, for the PhilHealth YAKAP and GAMOT Programs.

“Sa ilalim ng YAKAP, maaaring kumonsulta sa accredited providers at, kung kinakailangan, makatanggap ng reseta at access sa kaukulang gamot at health services,” the Provincial Information Office (PIO) said.

In Pampanga, the beneficiaries can choose from 169 accredited YAKAP providers.

The PIO, however, said PhilHealth has reminded its members of the importance of being active members in order to avail of the programs.
