MANILA – The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. has signed a memorandum of agreement with the Provincial Government of Pampanga for the construction of a new school building at the Pampanga State University-Floridablanca campus.
Signed by PAGCOR chairman Alejandro H. Tengco and Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda at the PAGCOR office on Sept. 24, the MOA covers the construction of a three-storey 12-classroom building with complete facilities and equipment.
The project is part of PAGCOr’s initiatives to help address the classroom shortage in the country and expand access to opportunities for quality education.
Joining the ceremonial signing ceremonies were Education Secretary Sonny Angara, officers of PSU, and Floridablanca Mayor Michael Galang.
“Ang bawat bagong silid-aralan ay dagdag na espasyo para sa pagkatuto, pangarap, at kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan. Ito ang mga proyektong may malaking epekto sa kinabukasang ng ating mga kabataan,” enthused Galang of the PAGCOR project.
“Lubos po tayong nagagalak sa patuloy na suporta nina Nanay Gov at Vice Gov. Delta Pineda para sa mga programang nagbibigay ng mas maayos na learning environment at mas magandang oportunidad para sa mga kabataan ng Floridablanca,” he added.
