San Antonio, Zambales Earns DILG Region III Recognition for Fisheries Compliance

San Antonio, Zambales — The Municipality of San Antonio, Zambales, has earned recognition from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region III after being named a Regional Passer in the 2026 Fisheries Compliance Audit for the Non-Manila Bay Area.

The municipality received a Certificate of Recognition during an awarding ceremony on October 7, held at Royce Hotel and Casino in Clark Freeport, Angeles City, Pampanga.

The recognition highlights the local government’s efforts to promote sustainable fisheries governance, protect marine resources, and strengthen responsible management of its coastal areas.
