Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag of San Fernando City, Pampanga, wearing a “PE uniform,” has distributed pairs of activewear to the students from public schools and centers in the city.
The ceremonial distribution of the “Kayabe PE Uniforms,” was held in Barangay Juliana, benefiting more than 140 learners of the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) program.
“As the pilot distribution benefited more than 140 ECCD learners in three barangays, including Juliana, Sta. Teresita, and Sto. Rosario,” the City Information Office (CIO) said.
It said the local government targets to give over 45,000 sets of physical education clothing.
Acting City Social Welfare and Development Officer Canneth Mangalus and other local government officials joined Caluag at the event.
Last year, the mayor gave “Kayabe Go Bags” to the students.
