4th District as the Fish Capital of Pampanga, isinusulong ng PamCham

Iminungkahi ni Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham) Chair Rene G. Romero ang pagtatalaga sa 4th District ng Pampanga bilang “Fish Capital and Seafood Tourism Destination” ng lalawigan, matapos ang renewal ng Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan ng Sibul Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) nitong March 21, 2025.

Inilahad ni Romero ang proposal sa PSAU Sibul TBI Advisory Board na kinabibilangan ng PamCham, MACCII, at ilang mga pambansang ahensya tulad ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), at National Economic Development Agency (NEDA).

Layon ng nasabing proposal na palaguin ang aquaculture, fisheries infrastructure, seafood processing, at turismo sa mga bayan ng Masantol, Macabebe, at Sasmuan.

Ayon kay Romero, ang hakbang na ito ay makatutulong sa pagpapalakas ng ekonomiya ng Pampanga at sa pagsusulong sa 4th District bilang pangunahing modelo ng sustainable aquaculture at seafood tourism sa probinsya. #
