6 nasugatan sa paputok! Angeles City gov’t thanks emergency responders for supporting Iwas Paputok drive

The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, has expressed appreciation to law enforcement agencies and emergency response teams for their vigilance and dedication under the Iwas Paputok campaign.

This, as the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) recorded at least six firecracker- and fireworks-related injuries in the city during the New Year celebration.

“All reported cases involved injuries caused by prohibited or unsafe fireworks and were given medical attention at Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC),” the City Information Office (CIO) said.

No stray bullet-related incidents were recorded during the same period, it said.

The CIO said this reflects the continued efforts of law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and the community’s cooperation in maintaining public safety.

“Let us continue working together for a safe, responsible, and injury-free community,” it added.
