Angeles City gov’t marks 127th Philippine Independence Day

The Angeles City government joined the nation in celebrating the 127th Philippine Independence Day at the Museo ng Kasaysayang Panlipunan ng Pilipinas on Thursday, June 12.

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. welcomed in the city Senator Loren Legarda, who served as the guest of honor during the celebration.

In his message, Lazatin said the celebration was a reminder of the patriotism and nationalism of the brave heroes who fought valiantly for the country’s independence.

Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, and other national and local government officials were also present at the event.
