The Angeles City government has continued to monitor the prices of goods in a public market as part of its effort to ensure that there is no overpricing.
Regular monitoring was conducted at the Pampang Public Market.
“Sa pamamagitan ng koordinasyon ng market management at sanitation team, binabantayan ang kalinisan, kaayusan, at pagsunod sa tamang presyo upang maprotektahan ang kapakanan ng mamimili at mga negosyante,” the City Information Office (CIO) said.
The market management and sanitation team also coordinate to ensure the facility’s cleanliness.
“Patunay ito ng tuloy-tuloy na malasakit ng lungsod sa kapakanan ng komunidad at sa pagpapanatili ng maayos na serbisyong pampubliko para sa mga Angeleños,” the CIO said.
The national government has asked local government units to make sure that there is no overpricing of goods amid the series of oil price hikes due to the Middle East conflict.
