The Angeles City government, under Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, has conducted training on hydroponics, basic seedling production, planting, and making organic fertilizer.
The City Agriculture Office spearheaded the “Gulayan sa Barangay” held in Barangay Agapito del Rosario on Thursday, September 3.
The participants were also taught how to start simple containers and recycled materials, including plastic cups, to have their own vegetable garden.
The Gulayan sa Barangay will also be implemented in other villages in the city.
