The Angeles City government, under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, has signed a memorandum of agreement with the Hann Foundation for the implementation of initiatives that will further strengthen the city’s tourism program and enhance facilities for minors under the care of the local government.
The Angeles City Information Office (CIO) said that under the deal, the Hann Foundation will donate an electric jeepney to support and boost Angeles City’s growing Heritage Tour and other tourism-related travel packages.
“The e-jeepney is expected to provide a more sustainable and accessible way for visitors to experience the city’s rich cultural heritage, local cuisine, traditions, and other tourism destinations,” the CIO said.
The partnership also includes improvement of the Home for the Girls under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
City Information Officer Jose Aubrey “Jay” Pelayo IV, representing Lazatin, Hann Foundation, Inc. (HFI) Executive Director Ana Christi Galura, and Corporate Finance Director Sheila Rivera were present during the MOA signing.
