Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has underscored the need to preserve Kapampangan culinary traditions.
This, as the city government joined in the Pamangan: Pamana Qng Dulang event at Clark Freeport Zone, a grand celebration of National Food Month this April, highlighting the rich culinary heritage of Pampanga.
Lazatin said Angeles continues to champion its local delicacies on national and international stages.
The city government sponsored Aling Lucing’s Sisig, the world-famous dish that put Angeles City on the global food map, at the event.
The Clark Development Corporation spearheaded the Pamangan festival.
