THAI CRAVINGS? BangBang Modern Thai at The Orchard in Telabastagan, City of San Fernando is serving up Siamese favorites with a modern Pampanga twist.
During our visit, co-owner and Angeles City councilor JC Parker-Aguas personally served the dishes as they came fresh from the kitchen led by a chef trained in Thailand, bringing firsthand knowledge of Thai cooking to the menu.
We kicked things off with the Isaan Gambas, combining shrimp, sweet sausage and Kapampangan buro, followed by crispy Enoki Explosion and the fresh, spicy Som Tum Superstar.
The Crispy Catfish with Tangy Mango Salad was another standout, while the mains brought serious comfort—from wok-fried Krapow and Thai Cashew Chicken to the hot-and-sour Spicy Pork Rib Soup. Don’t miss the signature Bang Panang-Kare, a fun Thai-Filipino mash-up inspired by Panang curry and kare-kare.
And when the sun goes down, BangBang shifts gears. Think crimson lights, cocktails and a livelier bar vibe featuring drinks like Bangkok Crush, Thai Me Up, Sawadika and Bang Bang Spice.
