CLARK FREEPORT ZONE — The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and its subsidiary, Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC), presented investment-ready projects to Japanese firms during the BCDA-Japan Bank for International Cooperation project pitching.
The forum highlighted opportunities in infrastructure, aviation, industrial parks, energy transition, and public-private partnerships, which aim to attract foreign investments that will generate jobs and support sustainable growth in Clark and other BCDA-managed areas.
CIAC President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Alcazar said this move aims to reinforce partnerships with Japanese firms while advancing development in the Clark Aviation Capital.
“CIAC fully supports BCDA’s efforts to strengthen collaboration with Japanese companies, facilitate project partnerships, and identify viable investment opportunities within the Clark Aviation Capital. Our goal is to create business opportunities that generate jobs and improve the quality of life for Filipinos,” he said.
Japanese firms at the forum specialize in water and wastewater treatment, smart transportation, industrial parks, energy, and agriculture, aligning with BCDA’s development priorities.
CIAC Chief Business Development Officer Melissa Feliciano presented flagship projects including the Clark National Food Hub, Urban Renewal and Heritage Conservation Program, Clark International Aviation Campus, and Clark Pharmaceutical Hub, which are all designed to attract long-term investments.
BCDA and CIAC officials said these initiatives aim to position Clark as a globally competitive aviation, logistics, and business hub while supporting economic growth, innovation, and job creation.
