Ben-San sets the Izakaya mood in CSFP

Pampanga nights just got brighter with the arrival of Ben-san Izakaya at Unit F, Orchard Community, City of San Fernando.

From the golden glow of mood lights to the sleek Japanese-inspired interiors, it captures the energy, flavors, and style of Tokyo and Osaka’s bustling nightlife.

Guests can choose their vibe, whether it’s the lively bar, the breezy al fresco space, or the intimate washitsu dining room.

The menu is a journey through Japanese comfort and creativity, starting with edamame, korokke (creamy mashed potato croquettes), and silky chawanmushi. Special maki rolls are showstoppers, from the towering Godzilla Roll packed with salmon, prawns, mango, and cucumber to the vibrant Niji Shake Roll.

Rounds of shiitake tempura, mushroom teppanyaki, and steaming bowls of shoyu, red spicy, or seafood ramen keep the night delicious. Behind the bar, the selection spans signature cocktails, elevated classics, Japanese beer, sake, wine, premium liquor, rum, whiskey, tequila, gin, vodka, and liqueurs.

The space shifts effortlessly from a refined dinner destination to a relaxed lounge, with a built-in DJ booth where owner Bench Dizon sometimes takes over the decks himself. “The new Ben-san Izakaya is inspired by izakaya in Tokyo and Osaka and we do our best to make it as sophisticated as possible,” Dizon shared.

The grand opening became a celebration of family and community, with his proud parents Benjun Dizon and Pampanga 2nd District Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon joining the festivities.

Open daily from 4:00 PM to midnight, Ben-san Izakaya invites Pampanga to taste Japan’s nightlife dining culture without leaving home.
