Big-time drug peddler from Pampanga yields ₱6.8-M shabu in Parañaque bust

A high-value drug peddler involved in the bulk distribution of various illegal drugs across Metro Manila and Pampanga was arrested, and approximately one kilo of suspected shabu worth ₱6.8 million, was seized from him during a buy-bust operation at around 7:10 PM in Barangay Don Bosco, on Friday, May 8, 2026.

PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspect by his alias ANTON, a 44-year-old native of Pampanga.

Recovered from Anton’s possession were two pieces of resealable transparent plastic bags containing more or less 1,000 grams of suspected shabu, one smartphone, one digital weighing scale, and the marked money used by the undercover agent.

According to PDEA, Anton is involved in the proliferation of assorted drugs such as shabu, ecstasy and ketamine in Metro Manila and the Province of Pampanga.

“Anton is a native of Pampanga and was previously incarcerated for drug cases. It took our operatives three weeks to secure a drug deal with him,” the team leader added.

The apprehended suspect will be temporarily detained at PDEA-3 detention facility, while confiscated illegal substances will undergo qualitative and quantitative analysis at the PDEA Region 3 laboratory.

The operation was conducted through the collaborative effort between PDEA RO3; Special Enforcement Team, PDEA NCR-Southern District Office and PNP Drug Enforcement Group.

Charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165, is now being readied for filing in court.
