Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag of San Fernando City, Pampanga has received the local government’s award from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 3 for implementing the localized Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) program.

The KMME is a mentoring program of the DTI using modules on business development for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The city was the first to implement the localized version of the program in Central Luzon.

The awarding ceremony was held on Friday, August 30, during the “Pupul: The KMME General Assembly” of the Kapampangan MSMEs.

The City Information Office (CIO) said Caluag, in her message, promised to further strengthen “Fernanpreneurs” and to come up with the next edition of the KMME.
