
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A total of 3,013 farm workers from across Pampanga received cash, rice, and free medicines during an aid distribution program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Provincial Government of Pampanga on July 17.


Each beneficiary received P3,000 from the DSWD, 25 kilograms of rice under the rice program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and free medicines from the provincial government during the distribution held in two venues.
At the Lubao Gym, a total of 1,136 farm workers from the second district comprising Floridablanca, Guagua, Lubao, Porac, Sasmuan, and Sta. Rita. received the assistance.


While at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center here, served were 1,877 farm workers from the first, third, and fourth district localities of Mabalacat City, Magalang, Arayat, Bacolor, Mexico, Sta. Ana, Apalit, Candaba, Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin, San Luis, San Simon, and Sto. Tomas.


Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda, together with provincial board members and officials from various municipalities personally led the distribution.

“You have helped many people, including me and my family. Being a single parent is difficult, but I continue farming to provide for my family.
