CLARK FREEPORT — The newly renovated Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark office aims to further boost the efficiency of BOC employees, offering them an improved workplace to better serve the public.
During the inauguration on November 12, Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, President and CEO of Clark Development Corporation (CDC), reaffirmed the corporation’s commitment to enhancing the ease of doing business in the Clark Freeport Zone. This aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s initiatives to foster a more business-friendly environment.
Atty. Devanadera, known for her efforts in streamlining business processes, emphasized the importance of these improvements.
“We are reinforcing the green lane to ensure businesses operate more efficiently and effectively within the Clark Freeport Zone. Our goal is to create a seamless environment for both local and international investors, in line with the administration’s vision for economic growth,” she said.
For his part, Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio reported that the Port of Clark, under the leadership of Collector Jairus Reyes, exceeded its revenue target by 8.3 percent, collecting ₱4.263 billion from January to November 8, surpassing its ₱3.936 billion target by ₱327.46 million.
