ANGELES CITY – Pampanga 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. strongly condemned the killing of an Angeleña nail technician, who was found dead on July 4 in her home in Barangay Lourdes Sur East here.
Lazatin is offering a P50,000 cash reward, out of his own pocket, for any information on the nail tech’s killer.
“There is no room in Angeles City and the First District of Pampanga for such lawless acts. Hindi natin pwedeng palampasin ang insidenteng ito,” Lazatin said. “I am urging our police to exhaust their resources in solving this case and apprehending the perpetrator.”
“Ako po mismo ay magbibigay ng P50,000 na pabuya sa sino mang makakapagbigay ng impormasyon tungkol sa may kagagawan ng krimeng ito,” Lazatin added.
The former city mayor also sent financial aid to the victim’s family, which he personally funded.
The nail technician, identified as 25-year-old Chinnie Mae Rosete, was found lifeless in her own room on the morning of July 4.
It was reported to Angeles City Police Station 6 and the station immediately deployed personnel to the place of incident.
Individuals bearing any information may report to the Angeles City Police Office.
