DAR-Pampanga reaps recognition at PAHP Awards 

PARAÑAQUE CITY – For its outstanding contributions in implementing the Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty program and strengthening market linkages for agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs), a torrent of recognitions rained on the Department of Agrarian Reform-Pampanga Provincial Office at the PAHP Awarding Ceremony held at the Sequoia Hotel here on June 25. 

Plaques of recognition were received by Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Engr. Emmanuel G. Aguinaldo, Provincial Beneficiaries Development Division caretaker Christine D. Bonifacio, and PAHP point person Denzel D. Nilo. Accompanying them were Engr. Victor Batu, himself cited as Best Regional CARPO for Engineer II, and Donna Maryeliz Regala, regional PAHP point person.

 

A major highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of the Sto. Tomas, San Luis Farmers Association and its institutional market partner, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-San Jose Del Monte City Jail Male Dorm, for recording the highest sales among all BJMP jails nationwide under the PAHP program. The award was received by Fredeliza B. Miranda, chairperson of the farmers’  association, and JCINSP Cherifer Apostol, city jail warden.

Former PAHP point person Charisma Lingat was likewise honored for her invaluable assistance and dedication in facilitating the successful partnership between the farmers’ association and the institutional market partner, which significantly contributed to the program’s achievements.

The recognition affirms DAR Pampanga’s steadfast commitment to empowering agrarian reform beneficiaries through sustainable market opportunities and strengthening partnerships that advance food security and rural development. Through the PAHP initiative, the provincial office continues to create meaningful linkages between farmers and institutional buyers, enabling ARBs to improve their livelihoods while contributing to the government’s hunger mitigation efforts.
