Dingalan LGU gets Sandugo Award Excellence

The local government of Dingalan, Aurora, under the leadership of Mayor Aurora Taay, has hailed the recognition it received from the Department of Health (DOH) for its blood donation program.

Dingalan was a Regional Awardee of Sandugo Award Excellence for 2024 in Central Luzon.

“Mula taong 2019 hanggang 2024, tuloy-tuloy at consistent ang pagkilala sa Dingalan sa ilalim ng SANDUGO Program, at ngayong taon, ipinagkaloob ang tropeyo bilang pagkilala sa ‘outstanding commitment to voluntary non-remunerated blood donation,’ matapos makamit ng bayan ang 11.08 Blood Donation Rate (BDR) para sa taong 2024,” the municipal government said.

The Regional Sandugo Awarding Ceremony was held on August 5 in Clark, Pampanga. It has the theme, “One Drop, One Life: Together We Give, Together We Save.”
