Some 126 vendors in Pampanga have received livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
The Pampanga Provincial Information Office (PIO) said the distribution of livelihood grants was implemented under the DOLE’s Integrated Livelihood Program in partnership with the provincial government.
The beneficiaries received equipment, goods, and other items worth P10,000 to P30,000.
“Iba’t ibang livelihood grants ang ipinamahagi sa mga vendor—mula sa simpleng paglalako ng balot, banana at camote cue, binatog, street food, lutong ulam, sa malamig, burger, merienda, hanggang sa ihaw-ihaw at talipapa!” the PIO said.
The program aimed to assist small businesses, which have the potential to grow.
