Drug den shut down, 4 high value targets fall

ANGELES CITY – Four drug suspects tagged as high-value targets were apprehended by joint operatives of the PDEA Aurora and Pampanga offices and Angeles City Police Office-Station 2 following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Teresita on Thursday afternoon Sept. 19.

The drug operation resulted in the dismantling of drug den and seizure of around P81,000 worth of shabu.


PDEA identified the suspects as Jeffrey Panganiban y Pangilinan, 41, of Purok 1, Brgy. Sta. Teresita; Joey Dela Rosa y Marcelo, 42, of Henson St., Brgy. Sta. Teresita;  Ronald Reyes y Magtanong, 34, of Asuncion St., Brgy. Lourdes Northwest; and Mark De Jesus y Darupan, 37, of Purok 1, Brgy. Sta. Teresita – all in Angeles City.

PDEA said the drug operation was conducted following a report about the existence of a makeshift drug den in the area.
Authorities recovered a total of seven plastic sachets containing more or less 12 grams of shabu worth P81,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money.

The suspects are temporarily detained at PDEA Regional Office III Jail Facility facing charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002). Photos: PDEA
